Buy Low / Sell High Trade Targets Week 13
Sell High WRs
Gabe Davis – Buffalo Bills
It was a great Gabe Davis fantasy week, as the Bills WR had one of his 100+ yard games this past Sunday, marking the perfect time to trade him in fantasy football.
Davis has shown us this before, namely with the incredible postseason performance that caused his fantasy stock to go through the roof in the following draft. He has since also shown us that he is a decent WR2/3 who will occasionally have a big game as a priority target in the offense.
Davis had six catches for 106 yards and what was almost the game clinching touchdown against Philadelphia, leading the teams receivers on the night. However, in his previous three games he’s only had two catches in total, both coming against Denver while being locked out of the game plan against the Jets and Bengals.
Under Joe Brady, who is now calling the plays for the rest of the year, perhaps Davis gets more looks. At least that’s what you tell potential buyers looking for a season clinching move. There is some truth to that though, as Brady seems to have the Bills offense moving more freely. Play it smart, but if you get an offer you can’t refuse, this is the week to move him.

Christian Watson – Green Bay Packers
The Packers offense is humming right now, with Jordan Love hitting form in his last two appearances against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Detroit Lions.
Christian Watson has struggled to find any real form this season, but on Thanksgiving he came to life against the Detroit Lions. The Packers wideout posted five catches for 94 yards and a touchdown, including a deep ball to open up the game by taking the top off the defense.
Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love seem to be on the same page, and the Packers are getting hot just in time to make a run and make the playoffs.
Most importantly, their schedule looks great for fantasy football owners. Green Bay face the Chiefs this weekend, but after that they have games against the Giants, Bucs, Panthers, Vikings and Bears. Jordan Love could have several more big games, and having Christian Watson could be a game changer.
There’s a chance he’s available on waivers if you play in a smaller league with less roster spots available, but even in a trade, you might find he’s available for a low cost.
Marquise Brown – Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray didn’t look particularly good against the Rams, struggling to find his receivers consistently or play with much poise. The Cardinals got slaughtered by Stafford and co. but Marquise Brown had a sneaky good game.
Murray’s former Oklahoma teammate went for six catches and 88 receiving yards, perhaps signaling a resurgence with Kyler back in the offense.
Marquise Brown has always been a splash play potential WR, and that now looks even more viable for the remainder of the season. In the same fashion as Christian Watson, I don’t expect the asking price to be that high, so you could add some WR depth here for a small fee.
Sell High QBs
Derek Carr – New Orleans Saints
Derek Carr rebounded from his Week 10 concussion with 304 passing yards against the Atlanta Falcons. He did however fail to throw a touchdown pass, and the Saints lost a crucial game against Atlanta in the race for the division title.
This season has gone this way for the Saints all year. They win, the offense looks capable, and then they lose, the offense struggles, and the results continue to be unpredictable.
Carr has now had five 300+ yard passing games this season, but has also had four throwing less than 185, and three that barely scraped 100. Can’t have that in fantasy, and if you can get him off your roster, I’d do it.
I’m a fan of Derek Carr the man, but the fantasy quarterback? Just can’t trust him.

Aidan O’Connell – Las Vegas Raiders
Credit to Aidain O’Connell, he looked pretty good against the Chiefs. That Chiefs defense is one of the best against the pass so far this season, and O’Connell held his own.
Kansas City ranks fourth this season in passing yards allowed, giving up less than 180 yards a game. In just his fourth start as a rookie, O’Connell threw 23 of 33 passes for 248 yards and a touchdown.
The young man bounced back from a tough game against Miami to limit mistakes and give his team a chance to win, and deserves credit for doing so. I doubt he’s rostered in your league, and if you have the roster space, particularly in a dynasty league, he might be worth a shot.
Sell High RBs
Najee Harris – Pittsburgh Steelers
Perhaps Najee Harris is all the way back, and this is the week that his career becomes what we had all hoped it would be when he was drafted. Or, the more likely scenario, is that this weekend’s game marks the perfect time to trade him.
Najee has been splitting the workload with Jaylen Warren, and it’s been Warren looking like the more promising runner for most of the season. Yesterday, Najee flipped the script, taking his 15 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown in a crucial win for the Steelers over Cincinnati.
With Matt Canada out of the picture, perhaps the tides are turning for Najee. If another player in your league believes that and still has the attachment to the name Najee Harris, you might be able to trade him for a decent fantasy football running back, or draft picks in dynasty.

Tyer Allgeier – Atlanta Falcons
This weekend it was Bijan Robinson making all the headlines. The rookie had 91 rushing yards and a touchdown, as well as three catches for 32 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
That said, Tyler Allgeier carried the football 10 times for 64 rushing yards, meaning a 6.4 yards per carry average and a very productive day on limited touches.
The more highlight plays Bijan Robinson makes, the more willing Allgeier fantasy owners will be to trade him. The fear of his touches slowly dwindling looms large, and there’s a chance fantasy football owners would take a good look at your low ball trade offer.
As long as Arthur Smith’s in town, Tyler Allgeier will be relevant. Then in dynasty, there’s a chance Allgeier gets poached in a trade by another franchise, which could give him RB1 upside. Lots of good value here, for what should be a very low cost.
Samaje Perine – Denver Broncos
This is a similar story to the Bijan Robinson and Allgeier fantasy RB debacle. Every time Javonte Williams looks set to claim the RB1 role for himself, Samaje Perine emerges with some production that makes you think twice.
This past weekend, Perine was superb, and against the Cleveland Browns defense which is arguably the best in the league so far this year.
Perine had 55 rushing yards on just seven carries, finding the endzone for a touchdown, as well as picking up a catch for 11 yards.
He’s not got home run potential, but if you need a guy who can give you a little extra production and depth, Samaje Perine should be available either on waivers or for practically nothing in a trade.
Sell High TEs
Tyler Higbee – Los Angeles Rams
While we’ve all been devastated with the Kyle Pitts situation all season, Tyler Higbee has been quietly disappointing too.
The emergence of Puka Nacua reshaped the offense in L.A., and Tyler Higbee has only had 300 yards so far this season as a result.
Higbee went out on Sunday and caught his first touchdown pass of the year, then followed it with a second. Touchdowns arrived like London buses to end the drought, and now there might be a little opportunity to move Higbee if you wish to do so.
He’s never been a huge production tight end, but this year his opportunities have come down, and therefore the numbers are far less appealing. Through 10 weeks he had just 27 catches, compared to his 72 total last season.

Tucker Kraft – Green Bay Packers
We’ve been excited about Luke Musgrave, but let’s not forget that the Packers went for back to back tight ends in the 2023 NFL draft.
Tucker Kraft was drawing Travis Kelce comparisons prior to being drafted, and the only reason he went in the third round was because he was coming out of South Dakota State. He’s got first round pass catching ability, and we saw a flash of that on Sunday when he caught his first touchdown pass against the Detroit Lions.
With the Packers on the rise and Jordan Love playing at a high level, how about adding the tight end and storing him for next year. Of course, this only really applies as a dynasty fantasy football move, and it’s certainly not a plug and play situation that’s going to bring instant results.
That said, if you’ve got space, the upside here is tremendous. My only hesitation is the Packers having both Kraft and Musgrave on the roster splitting targets.
