- Kansas City Chiefs
The defending-Super Bowl champions are the easy pick to slot at the top of the AFC West. They have now finished first in the division every year since 2016 and won two Super Bowls during that time. A big question heading into last season was who was going to be their leading wide receiver. It turned out that they didn’t need a clear top wide receiver as they threw a ton to Travis Kelce and their running backs. This offseason hasn’t had much movement from the Chiefs as they replaced Orlando Robinson with Jawaan Taylor and lost Juju Smith-Schuster. Kadarius Toney is expected to fill a big role at wide receiver this season and they may look to add another one in the draft at the end of the first round. - Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers made the playoffs last year and lost in a devastating fashion to the Jaguars as they blew a massive lead. Injuries have been a major downfall of this team for the past few seasons and last year was no different. If they are able to stay healthy this team should make the playoffs again. There is also a question on whether or not they will trade Austin Ekeler who has reportedly asked for a trade. Getting Eric Kendricks was their only big free agent move and in the draft they may look to take a running back early to replace Ekeler. If he isn’t traded then they may try to bolster their offensive line. - Las Vegas Raiders
A massive change for the Raiders was moving on from Derek Carr and signing Jimmy Garoppolo in free agency. Carr had been their quarterback since 2014 and now Garoppolo will look to take them to the playoffs and on a deep run this season. Jakobi Meyers was a nice pick up for them to help at wide receiver but the team also traded Darren Waller. Overall this team may have gotten worse but Jimmy G has been a winner everywhere he goes, so it will be interesting to see if he can make this team better. With the No. 7 pick in the upcoming draft, the Raiders may take a quarterback to groom for the future or go with a top defensive lineman if one slides down to them. - Denver Broncos
It was an awful season for the Broncos in Russell Wilson’s first season there. They will now have to watch as Seattle uses their No. 5 overall pick to take a top player. The end of the season brought some hope as Wilson played better but it is still not looking good for them heading into this season. Javonte Williams may not be ready for week one and it looks like they will trade one of their talented wide receivers as well. Getting two starters for their offensive line will help Wilson who got sacked a league-leading 55 times last season but no other major upgrades have been made this offseason. Their first selection will be 67th overall and they will probably just take the best player available as they need help in a lot of areas. AFC East
